First Presbyterian Church

First Presbyterian Church Thomasville has been hosting the World Mission Conference for over 40 years with the purpose of informing our congregation and community about mission opportunities throughout the world and around the corner. It gives everyone involved the opportunity to participate in missions through education, prayer, and financial support. Our theme verse for 2022 comes from Ephesians 2:10: “For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.”

DAILY PRAYER

Dear Heavenly Father, how faithful you have been through the World Mission Conference. Thank you for how many lives have been touched by the missions that FPC has been involved with over the years. We pray today for the 2022 WMC, for the leaders, Chris and Amy Hart, and the committee chairs who have worked to prepare this year’s conference. We pray for all of our speakers, that they will have safe travels and bring us encouraging news from the mission field. We pray for all who will participate, that their hearts will be open to receive each message brought to us. In Jesus’ name we pray, AMEN.
