Loving and Leading God’s Little ones

Children’s Ministry serves children birth through fifth grade and their families, providing Sunday School, mid-week discipleship, and family events throughout the year. We encourage and equip parents with tools and resources to help them be the primary spiritual influencers in their homes, and we commit to engage our kids with God’s truths through relevant Bible teaching, music, small group discussion, large group worship, and age-appropriate activities.

All children, including those who have special developmental and/or health challenges are welcome. FPC has developed age-appropriate environments where your child will experience God’s love and learn His truths in a program designed especially for them.

Our mission is to to partner with families in raising the next generation of believers to live and love like Jesus.

Our intention is to offer a warm Christian atmosphere where children grow intellectually, physically, emotionally, socially, and spiritually. The A,B, C, Jesus Loves Me preschool curriculum includes age-appropriate experiences in each of these developmental areas, prayerfully supporting happy, well-adjusted children. We seek to instill and reinforce Christian values that will enrich a child’s life and learning, providing a strong foundation for their future.

The Preschool schedule is designed so that each day, children will learn through imaginative play, self-expression in groups, stories, and creative arts. Because of our spiritual foundation, children will also have the opportunity to hear Bible stories, pray before snacks, and learn church songs.

Each month you will receive a newsletter and calendar that will keep you informed about our learning themes as well as any special events planned. Throughout the year, there are a number of special events, celebrations and local field trips. Children will also participate in weekly music and art class. You can look forward to special programs at Christmas and in May as we celebrate our year end.
