Many Minds, One Vision.

FPC Thomasville isn't built on a personality, but on people. Our team helps make FPC a place where everyone can belong and discover a full life in Christ together.

Dr. TIM FILSTON

Senior Pastor

tfilston@fpcthomasville.org

Tim is our Senior Pastor, serving primary roles as preacher, teacher, and leader. He grew up in North Carolina and met his sweetheart of 20 years, Beth, in college.  They have served churches in Houston, Orlando, and Chattanooga.  They are the parents of triplets + 1,  David, Jameson, Caroline, and Benjamin.  Tim loves what he does in part because it puts him in the position to witness changed lives, before, during, and after.  People have spotted him on the road, riding on a couple of skinny tires, wetting a line in a Smoky Mountain river, or altering the landscape of a golf course. Tim blogs at faithanddoubt.com where he demonstrates the relevance of faith in everything life throws at us.

REV. Tyler Wilson

Associate Pastor of Student and Family Ministries

twilson@fpcthomasville.org

Tyler currently serves as the Associate Pastor of Student and Family Ministries here at FPC. Originally from Orlando, Florida, Tyler graduated from the University of Florida in 2017 with a degree in Journalism, and is a recent graduate with a Master of Divinity from Reformed Theological Seminary. He has served at churches in both Orlando, and in Gainesville. He is currently a candidate for ordination in the EPC and will be ordained as an Associate Pastor in 2022! Tyler is married to his college sweetheart, Allison, and they love to hike, play board games, and visit the best pizza spots in town. When not doing these things, Tyler can be seen trying to figure out why his putter continually malfunctions, why the Florida Gators aren’t good on offense and defense at the same time, and what amazing love the Lord has for us.
