Children’s Bible Ministry

The Children’s Bible Ministry of the Reformed Presbyterian Church in Guanabacoa, Cuba, began as a pastor’s dream shared with a group from FPC Thomasville in 2017. This suburb of Havana is a poor but bustling community full of young families with children. Pastor Yoelkis saw a need for a safe place to welcome young children, feed and care for them, and teach them about Jesus while their parents are at work. Despite pandemic-related delays and issues, the construction of a building to house this ministry is continuing.

DAILY PRAYER

Father, we pray for the Children’s Bible Ministry in Guanabacoa, Cuba, and for Pastor Yoelkis, his family, and the members of the Reformed Presbyterian Church. We further pray: that the construction of facilities whose progress has been hampered by the pandemic may be completed; that the required construction materials necessary to complete the project will become available; and that the equipment, education materials, and staffing can be identified and acquired during this period of uncertainty. In Your name we pray, AMEN.
