Maundy Thursday is the day that Jesus gave His command (Latin: maundatum) to love one another. He
revealed this love by washing the disciples’ feet like a servant. He then transformed the ancient Passover Supper,
during which the Passover lamb was eaten, into His own supper with Jesus, Himself as the Lamb of God.
